Lili Baranyai

Junior UX/UI Designer · Budapest

I’m Lili — a designer who enjoys the whole messy process.

From understanding the problem and talking to users to shaping flows, refining interfaces and preparing designs for development, I like seeing how all the pieces connect.

I’m especially drawn to products where structure, clarity and visual detail all matter.

About

A little more about me

  • Based in Budapest
  • Media design BA
  • Detail-oriented
“I notice details quickly and constantly think about why things work the way they do.”

01

Where I come from

My background is in media design, which gave me experience across visual communication, graphic design and digital products before I focused more deeply on UX/UI.

02

What I do now

Since December 2024, I’ve been Lazlon’s dedicated UX/UI designer, working across research, product structure, user flows, prototypes, detailed interfaces, and developer handoff.

03

How I like to work

I enjoy working independently and taking ownership, but I’m equally at home in a team where ideas get discussed, challenged and improved together.

Approach

How I work

01

I start by understanding

I use research, competitor analysis and conversations with users to question assumptions before committing to a solution.

02

I think in systems

I enjoy organizing complex products, connecting flows, and creating consistent interface patterns rather than treating screens as isolated pieces.

03

I care about the details

Structure comes first, but typography, hierarchy, interaction states and visual consistency are what make an experience feel finished.

04

I take ownership

Working in a small team taught me to move projects forward independently, communicate decisions clearly and stay involved throughout implementation.

Beyond design

A few things outside Figma

  • travel
  • photography
  • baking
  • films

I like to fill my life with things worth remembering: new places, good food, long conversations, photographs and small creative projects.

Outside work, I’m often planning an unnecessarily detailed trip, baking something, taking too many photos or organizing an idea that probably did not need its own system.
